Coyne-McCoy and Langevin Cash (posted February 8, 2000)

End of the year 1999 campaign finance reports are in for the second congressional district and Kate Coyne-McCoy has raised nearly as much as Secretary of State James Langevin in the Democratic primary. For the last six months of the year, Coyne-McCoy raised $232,300 and has an overall campaign balance of $248,000. Langevin raised around $200,000 in the last six months and has put $100,000 of his own money into the race. Overall, he has raised $357,000.

Lagging in the money hunt are Kevin McAllister, who has raised around $25,000 and Angel Taveras, who has generated around $52,000 in campaign money.
