New Book "Megachange: Economic Disruption, Political Upheaval, and Social Strife in the 21st Century"
Big, unexpected changes have become the new norm. We see these megachanges at work domestically in new attitudes toward same-sex marriage, marijuana legalization, Trumpism, and border security. Globally, we have witnessed the extraordinary rise and then collapse of the Arab Spring, the growing influence of non-state actors, the spread of ISIS-fueled terrorism, the surprising Brexit vote, and the fracturing of once-stable international alliances. We must alter our expectations of change, and develop faster and more flexible ways of coping with the massive tidal waves that we see.
